In 2019, a statistic was released that only point one percent of creative agencies were owned and operated by women. This project consisted of creating a website for a cable channel to acknowledge women who are creative entrepreneurs and encourage other women to step out and join the point one percent.

Research shows that 70 % of design students are women while only .1% of creative agencies are women-owned and founded. This channel highlighted women who are leaders in creative industries but also sought to teach other women how to step out and do the same.

The website features influential female creative leaders and also hosts several shows which promote creativity and entrepreneurship. Each show has a unique theme like creative business solutions, analog art, film, and even poetry.

Each page has clear navigation at the top of each page, and each show page has a large media player featuring the latest episode with a description of the show.

A television layout was also included in the design solution for the channel to display what viewers would see when they exit the sight and watch on their television. The color pink was used throughout each design element as it is traditionally viewed as a female color.

An inspirational poster was also created so that other women could be reminded that to join the point one percent, all they needed to do was start. The poster served as a reminder to women that they are not alone and encourages them to strive for success.
